NZX Quarterly Index Review Announced

New Zealand Exchange Limited (NZX) announced today the results of the September Quarterly Index review. There will be no additions to or deletions from the headline NZX 50 Index this quarter. New NZSX listings Barramundi Limited and Kermadec Property Fund Limited will be added to the NZX SmallCap Index, with Kermadec's addition subject to successful completion of the listing process.

The BM&F ID Future contract traded on 11/31/2006, 2,228,278 contracts, the second greater historical volume registered at the Brazilian Mercantile and Futures Exchange. The current record is 2,351,695 contracts, registered on November 23, 2005.

The spot U.S. Dollar traded at BM&F reached historical record volume on Thursday, 11/30/2006. The volume was US$ 1,017 billion for 118 trades. The previous mark, US$ 866 million, was registered on November 10 2006.
