BOX Sees Best Week On Record

With an average daily volume of 882,400 contracts executed and a market share of 6.7% in classes traded, BOX reported the week of July 23 through 27, 2007 as its best in its history in terms of volume. The week also witnessed another major accomplishment on Thursday July 26 when BOX broke for the first time the 1 million mark in terms of daily contracts executed. These increases in volume and market share reflect increased confidence on BOX's new and revamped trading platform.

National Stock Exchange(R), Inc. (NSX (SM)) today announced that it processed 19 percent of the industry's quote volume for the week of July 23 through July 27, 2007. Since the start of full industry compliance with Regulation NMS on July 9, 2007, NSX has accounted for an 18.7-percent market share of the nation's quote volume.

TSX Group – Civic Holiday Closures

Both Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange will be closed for the Civic Holiday on Monday, August 6. Both exchanges will re-open for business on Tuesday, August 7, 2007.

July 2007 Monthly Preliminary Performance Report Dow Jones-AIG Commodity Indexes

The Dow Jones-AIG Commodity Index was up 0.37% for the month of July. The Dow Jones-AIG Single Commodity Indexes for Lean Hogs, Wheat and Crude Oil had the strongest gains with month-to-date returns of 10.50%, 9.42% and 8.51%, respectively. The worst three performing single commodity indexes were Nickel, Natural Gas and Corn , which were down 15.84%, 9.61%, and 5.59%respectively, in July.

Minneapolis Grain Exchange Membership Values Reach $200,000

Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX or Exchange) memberships continue to turn over at a record pace with three trading late Friday afternoon at a record price of $200,000. Seven memberships have traded hands in July moving the record price from $140,000 to the new milestone of $200,000.

HKEx Completes Implementation Of SDNet

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) has completed the fourth and the final phase of its implementation of SDNet, an integrated Optical Ethernet network infrastructure for its cash, or securities, and derivatives market trading, clearing and settlement, and market data dissemination systems. SDNet provides flexible and higher bandwidth than the multiple networks it replaced, and it is more reliable and efficient.
