BM&FBOVESPA’s equities and fixed-income markets traded BRL71.70 billion in November in a total of 5.54 million trades, in comparison to BRL122.54 billion traded and 5.54 million transactions in the previous month. The number of individual investors reached 548,700 people, from 542,100, and participation of these investors in terms of trading volume reached 34.03%.

Crédit Agricole Structured Asset Management Launches 10 New ETFs On Euronext Paris

Crédit Agricole Structured Asset Management (CASAM) continues to roll out an ambitious development plan for its ETF range with the launch of another 10 new products on Euronext, increasing the total number of ETFs launched in 2008 to 21. This latest round of launches enables investors to buy and sell ETFs tracking the main European industry sectors and introduces international coverage through two leading products: CASAM ETF MSCI USA and CASAM ETF MSCI JAPAN.

FTSE Group (“FTSE”) confirms today that Stagecoach Group, Lonmin, Wood Group (John), Fresnillo and Petrofac will leave the FTSE 100 and be replaced by retailer Home Retail Group, business services company Serco Group, gold miner Randgold Resources, food ingredients company Tate & Lyle and insurer Amlin.
NYSE Euronext Welcomes New AEX ETFs To The Amsterdam Market

NYSE Euronext is pleased to announce that Lyxor Asset Management today has listed two new Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) on Euronext Amsterdam, the AEX Leverage and the AEX Short. Both ETFs are based on an index which is created, calculated and published by NYSE Euronext and has been designed specifically as an underlying for ETFs.

Markit today announced that a credit event has occurred at Tribune Company and Markit LCDX index dealers have voted to participate in a Credit Event Auction to facilitate the settlement of loan credit default swap (LCDS) trades referencing the company, which is a constituent of the Markit LCDX index.
