Dalian Commodity Exchange: All Is Ready For The Launch Of Hog Futures

During his interview with the media, Mr. Liu Xingqiang, the President and CEO of Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) said that quality standard for hog futures has been established after thorough argumentation. DCE, in cooperation with the government of Wuhan and Guangzhou, has carried out the simulated trading of hog futures in the two cities. All is ready for the launch of hog futures now.

On March 17, 2008, Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz LLP filed a class action in the Court of Chancery of the State of Delaware on behalf of shareholders (including plaintiff Cataldo J. Capozza, an original member and shareholder) of NYMEX Holdings, Inc. (“NYMEX” or the “Company”) (NYSE:NMX), against NYMEX, Richard Schaeffer, certain other directors and officers of the company, and CME Group Inc. (“CME”) for breach of fiduciary duties in connection with the proposed sale of NYMEX to CME.

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes to the S&P 100, S&P 500, S&P MidCap 400 and S&P SmallCap 600 indices: Philip Morris International Inc. (NYSE:PMwi) will replace S&P 500 constituent Allegheny Technologies Inc. (NYSE:ATI) in the S&P 100, and will replace Circuit City Stores Inc.
