Mini Russell 2000 Index Futures Set Second Consecutive Daily Volume And Open Interest Records On ICE Futures U.S.

ICE Futures U.S.(TM), a leading regulated U.S. futures exchange for global agricultural, equity index and currency markets, today announced further milestones in the transition of Russell Index futures and options on futures to ICE. A daily volume record of 14,807 Russell Mini Futures was set on Thursday, June 12, representing the third volume record for the week.

The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced that The NASDAQ Stock Market(r) has listed two new exchange traded funds (ETFs) sponsored by Invesco PowerShares Capital Management LLC -- a leading provider of ETFs. NASDAQ(r) is the most liquid U.S. market for ETFs, capturing 35.7% of all U.S. ETF volume in May. Matched volume was 6.7 billion, more than any other U.S. exchange.

CESR published in June 2007 its “Report on the supervisory functioning of the Prospectus Directive and Regulation” (CESR/07-225) that included some statistical data in relation to the number of prospectus approved and passported for the periods July 2004 to June 2005 and July 2005 to June 2006 (with quarterly disclosure).

Deutsche Börse and Porsche Automobil SE today agreed to end their long-pending legal dispute on the publication of quarterly reports amicably. The two parties declared the lawsuit on the quarterly reporting requirements in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB®), which had been pending at the Federal Administrative Court, as settled.

SIFMA Issues Best Practices For NIIDS Testing And Implementation

The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) today issued best practices for testing and implementation of the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation’s (DTCC) New Issue Information and Dissemination Service (NIIDS) for underwriters of municipal securities. This system allows underwriters to send new issue information electronically to DTCC, as well as any follow-up adjusted information.
