On Tuesday, 19 August 2008, a new daily record was achieved in trading of EUA futures on the EEX Derivatives Market for emission rights with 3,518,000 EUAs. The previous daily record was set on 3 March 2008 with 1,096,000 EUAs.

European High Yield Q2 Issuance Remain Off-Peak - High-Yield Bond Deals Evaporates

Data released today by the European High Yield Association (EHYA), an affiliate of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), showed there were no recorded high yield bond deals in the second quarter as the primary market remained virtually closed. CFTC Staff Action Allows Eurex Deutschland’s Futures Contracts Based On Four Stock Indices To Be Offered And Sold In The United States

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission's (CFTC’s) Office of General Counsel today announced that it issued a no-action letter permitting the offer and sale in the United States of Eurex Deutschland’s (Eurex’s) futures contracts based on the SLI Swiss Leader Index (SLI), the Swiss Market Index Midcap (SMIM), the Dow Jones Euro STOXX Select Dividend 30 Stock Index (Select Dividend 30), and the TecDAX Index (TecDAX) (collectively, Indices).
