New Structured Products On The Warsaw Stock Exchange

By the end of this week, the offer of structured products listed on the WSE will include two new instruments: the WIG20 Profit bond and the Deutsche Bank Express HSCE certificate. The WIG20 Profit structured bond issued by SecurAsset S.A. was introduced to trading on the WSE parallel market on 14 September 2009; the DB Express HSCE structured certificate was introduced to trading on Wednesday, 16 September 2009.

Osaka Securities Exchange Contract With OMX Technology And NTT Data

(OSE) has decided to adopt a trading platform provided by NASDAQ OMX Group, which uses the international standard trading functions and the world’s highest processing capacity after finishing the process to define requirements for its next-generation trading platform for derivatives products working since December 2008, and entered into licensing agreements with OMX Group’s OMX Technology required for system development and system operation.

Over the week of September 7 – September 11, 2009, the RTS Index went up by 12.50% to reach 1,196.55 points (1,063.57 points as of September 4, 2009). Most of the positive impact on the Index dynamics was related to the growing prices for "LUKOIL" ordinary shares (LKOH) (plus 22.12 points), Sberbank ordinary shares (plus 22.03 points) and Gazprom ordinary shares (GAZP) (plus 20.62 points).
