ROFEX And MERVAROS Initiate Merging Process

With the purpose of moving towards the consolidation of Argentine derivatives and capital markets, ROFEX (Mercado a Término de Rosario SA) and MERVAROS (Mercado de Valores de Rosario SA), have subscribed a letter of intent to begin a merging process.

Both standard and flexible options on Ultra T-Bond futures will be available. This contract will be listed with, and subject to, the rules and regulations of the CBOT.

The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announces the acquisition of Nord Pool ASA, the world's largest power derivatives exchange and one of Europe's largest carbon exchanges, following Statnett's and Svenska Kraftnät's decision to exercise their option to sell the shares in the company. Financial terms were not disclosed.
