The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged a virtual reality technology company, its principals, and three former sales agents for conducting a fraudulent offering scheme that garnered investors primarily through telemarketer sales out of a boiler room in the company’s Delray Beach, Fla., offices.

CME Group Announces Variable Storage Rates For CBOT Wheat Contract

CME Group, the world's largest and most diverse derivatives marketplace, today announced the implementation of variable storage rates for the CBOT Wheat futures contract, the world benchmark for wheat prices, beginning with the September 2010 contract expiration. These contracts are listed with, and subject to, the rules and regulations of the CBOT.

European Central Bank President Trichet And Eurogroup Chair Juncker: Time Not Right To Exit Financial Support Measures

The euro area economy shows signs of stabilisation, but it would be premature to declare the crisis over, ECB President Jean-Claude Trichet told the Economics Committee on Monday. MEPs wanted to know how the proposed Systemic Risk Board would work and how to ensure the supply of credit to businesses. On Tuesday, Eurogroup chair Jean-Claude Juncker warned the situation remained fragile and predicted several years of slow economic growth ahead.
