Tokyo Commodity Exchange today announced that May 2010 trading volume averaged 154,827 contracts per day, up 28.4% from April 2010. NYSE Euronext (NYX) today announced trading volumes for its global derivatives and cash equities exchanges for May 20101. NYSE Euronext set an all-time record of 13.3 million global derivatives contracts traded per day in May 2010. European derivatives average daily volume ("ADV") increased 51.5%, driven by a 56.6% increase in fixed income derivatives product ADV and a 48.8% increase in equity derivatives products. U.S. options ADV increased 90.

NASDAQ Dubai today announced that all trading of its listed equities will take place through the X-Stream trading platform of Dubai Financial Market (DFM), starting on Sunday June 27, 2010 subject to final regulatory approval. The move is part of an outsourcing strategy to increase trading volumes on NASDAQ Dubai and strengthen Dubai’s role as a centre for international capital markets activity.

The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and China Securities Index Co., Ltd. (CSI) have recently published the adjusted industry classification of A-share listed companies on the SSE and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange according to the annual reports of 2009. A total of 114 A-share listed companies went through the adjustment.
