OneChicago Extends Hours For EFP Trading On OCX.BETS

OneChicago, LLC (“OCX”) today announced that, at the request of its users, it would extend the trading hours for its EFP (Exchange For Physical) and Block Trading Platform, OCX.BETS™, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm Central (Chicago) Time. Trading on the OCX.BETS platform has shown substantial and sustained growth and the Exchange has reacted by expanding its trading hours. The total notional volume in EFPs for April was $1.4 billion and for May $1.5 billion.

CalPERS Acquires A Stake In London Gatwick Airport - Investment For Infrastructure Program

The California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) has committed up to £106 million (c. $155 million) to acquire a 12.7 percent equity interest in London Gatwick Airport from Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP).

ELX Futures Launches Eurodollar Futures Contract - Trading Starts Today- Fees Will Be Waived Until July 1, 2010

ELX Futures, L.P. (ELX Futures), a fully electronic futures exchange, announced today that it has launched its Eurodollar Futures contract. Fees associated with the new contract will be waived for market participants until July 1, 2010. The Eurodollar Futures contract joins ELX’s suite of U.S. Treasury Futures products already trading on the exchange. ELX offers state-of-the-art technology on the BGC Partners’ eSpeed platform with average turnaround times below five milliseconds.

EasyETF S&P 100 Becomes EasyETF S&P 500 As Leading US Market Index Becomes Available On NYSE Euronext (Paris)

EasyETF is launching an ETF on the S&P 500 listed on NYSE Euronext in Paris. EasyETF S&P 100 will change its underlying index and become EasyETF S&P 500. The tracker is capitalising on the recent opening of the S&P 500 licence to European ETF issuers and broadening its coverage of the North American equity market.
