HKSAR To Stage A High-Level Finance Forum In The Mainland For Expo

Hong Kong will this month (July) host a high-level finance forum as an official HKSAR programme for Expo 2010 Shanghai. The Finance Forum - "Stronger Links, Strong Markets: Hong Kong, the Mainland and the World" - will be held on July 21 at the Pudong Shangri-La Hotel.

Dubai Financial Market (DFM) announced today that it has appointed Standard Chartered as a Settlement Bank. With this appointment, Standard Chartered will be maintaining DFM member’s cash accounts used to settle payment obligations associated with transactions executed on DFM. This came at a signing ceremony which took place today. Trading volume at the DCE in June reached a total of 38,209,662 contracts, which was a decrease of 54.75% compared to the same month last year and a decrease of 24.45% compared to last month. Trading turnover in June reached CNY 1.6955 trillion, which was a decrease of 55.59% compared to the same month last year and a decrease of 24.13% compared to last month. Deutsche Börse is expanding its market data offering by launching a pure post-trade transparency product for its regulated exchanges. The new Information Product, “MiFID Post Trade”, provides trading prices and volumes for all MiFID relevant instruments traded on the Frankfurt stock exchange (Xetra and trading floor) as well as Tradegate Exchange. The data which is non-delayed and quality assured offers greatest transparency and more value than data that is available for OTC markets.
