Thai Bourse Seeks Clients Of Closed Securities Firms To Get Listed Shares/Dividends

Clients of the 32 finance and securities companies forced to close during the 1997-1998 financial crisis should now retrieve their outstanding shares of companies which are still listed and/or dividends. This can be done by coming to the Thailand Securities Depository (TSD) Counter Service (at The Stock Exchange of Thailand, or SET) or contact the TSD Call Center at 0 2229 2888.

ADX conducted workshops on the 24^th and 25^th of April on the implementation of delivery versus payment system (DVP) in its headquarter in Abu Dhabi in the presence of representatives from listed brokerage firms in ADX, custodians besides employees of ADX. The workshops aimed to facilitate the settlement procedures and acknowledge the concern stakeholders on how to employ the system effectively and efficiently which will be implemented starting from 28^th of April 2011.

Thai Bourse Launches “Jump For Futures” To Attract New Investors

The Thailand Futures Exchange Plc (TFEX), part of The Stock Exchange of Thailand, is introducing the “Jump for Futures” campaign to attract new investors through promoting TFEX’s longer trading hours. Dubai Financial Market “PJSC” shareholders approved Balance Sheet and Income Statement for the fiscal year ending December 31^st 2010. At Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc., April 2011 gold futures contract and silver futures contract recorded the highest delivery prices since listing on their last day of trading, April 25, 2011. The delivery price for the April 2011 gold futures contract is 4,002 yen/gram and that for the April 2011 silver futures contract is 120.5 yen/gram.
