Josh Rucci Joins Bloomberg As Global Head Of Content Sales - Rucci To Oversee Sales Of News, Photos, Video And Other Products

Bloomberg today announced that Josh Rucci, former senior executive at Getty Images, has joined Bloomberg Media Group as global head of content sales. In the newly formed position, Rucci is responsible for sales of news, photos, video and other products to newspapers, magazines, broadcasters and online publishers around the world. Bloomberg’s diverse content includes business, finance, politics, technology, luxury and other key verticals. Rucci is based in London and reports to Susan Vobejda, general manager of Bloomberg Media Licensing and Distribution.

SEC Charges Chicago-Based Investment Adviser With Defrauding Investors In Failing Private Equity Fund

The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged a Chicago-based investment adviser and his firm with defrauding clients and others who were promised returns that would “beat the market” for investing in a private equity fund they managed. What investors didn’t know was the fund was failing and they were being used to raise money to repay promissory notes to earlier investors.

Bloomberg First To Deliver China Interbank FX Rates Globally - New Service Provides Investors With Real-Time Insights Into Bonshore Renminbi Market

Bloomberg today announced the first global, real-time data service that provides investors access to live interbank pricing for China’s onshore renminbi (CNY) market. This service captures currency trading activity among banks and financial institutions in China, and is provided through the China Foreign Exchange Trade System (CFETS), the official interbank trading and foreign exchange (FX) division of China’s central bank.

("EDGX®", and together with EDGA, “the Exchanges”) have discovered a discrepancy between their rules that describe the operation of the Route Peg Order — EDGA Rule 11.5(c)(14) andEDGX Rule 11.5(c)(17) (together, the “Route Peg Rules”) — and the actual manner in which the Route Peg Order operates on the Exchanges’ Systems. This discrepancy has existed since the inception of the Route Peg Order types on the Exchanges on September 7, 2012.

EU Bank Supervision System Must Be Strong, Accountable And Inclusive

Banking supervision powers transferred to the EU level must be matched by measures that subject them to democratic scrutiny, said Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee MEPs on Thursday. They voted on plans to confer banking supervision powers on the ECB and ways to better integrate non-Eurozone countries into the new banking supervision system.

CBOE Holdings (NASDAQ: CBOE) announced plans today to transition its SPXpm product from the company's all-electronic C2 Options Exchange (C2) to Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), where it will be traded on CBOE's hybrid trading model which incorporates both electronic and open outcry trading. The transition will consolidate the company's entire S&P 500 options product line on one exchange, CBOE.
