Polling sessions during Clearstream’s Central Eastern European (CEE) Summit revealed that 83 percent of Summit delegates anticipate growth in the region’s debt capital markets between now and 2020. 50 percent of participants anticipate this growth will be via issuances on the international market compared to 33 percent on the domestic market, highlighting that both international and domestic issuances will play an important role moving forward. Overall, these results offer a positive outlook for the region’s growth in debt capital markets.

Deutsche Börse Group and its subsidiary Eurex, the international derivatives marketplace, have become the first non-Chinese exchange operator to hold a conference on the derivatives markets and their contribution to a country’s economic growth. The one-day conference “China Europe Derivatives Market Forum” was held today, 19 April 2013, in Beijing. More than 220 representatives from Chinese exchanges, the China Futures Association (CFA), financial institutions and universities participated.

Shanghai Stock Exchange Enhances Work Transparency Through Micro-Blog (2013-04-19) The Recruitment Of Micro-Blog Fans For The Webcast Themed With “One Day At The SSE” Is Launched

The official micro-blog “SSE Release” of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE), by joining hands with other micro-blogs, including those of the Shanghai Securities News, people.com.cn, finance.sina.com.cn, and finance.qq.com, will hold a webcast of pictures and messages sent by the SSE’s micro-blog fans, in a bid to further enhance the SSE’s work transparency, help the market and all walks of life understand its work, and continuously improve its service quality. A batch of the SSE’s micro-blog fans will be invited to visit the exchange. The most concerned departments and working procedures of the SSE will be opened to the micro-blog fans according to their voting results. On the afternoon of April 17, the “SSE Release” made an announcement on the recruitment of micro-blog fans for the webcast themed with “One Day at the SSE”.
