ASX Acquires d-cyphaTrade Limited - Transaction To Accelerate Expansion Of ASX Energy Business

ASX has today entered into an agreement  to acquire d-cyphaTrade  Limited (“d-cypha”)  from Transpower  New Zealand Limited. Under the agreement, ASX will acquire 100% of the shares in d-cypha for an acquisition price of A$55 million.

IMF Mission Concludes The 2013 Article IV Consultation With Japan

An International Monetary Fund (IMF) team, led by Mr. Jerald Schiff, Deputy Director for the Asia and Pacific Department, visited Tokyo during May 21 - 31 to conduct the annual Article IV discussions with Japan. The team met with senior officials from the government, the Bank of Japan (BoJ), and private sector representatives, to discuss recent economic developments and the policy agenda going forward. Mr. David Lipton, the IMF's First Deputy Managing Director, and Mr. Anoop Singh, Director for the Asia and Pacific Department, joined the final policy discussions. 

Netflix, Inc. To Join The NASDAQ-100 Index Beginning June 6, 2013

Netflix, Inc. (Nasdaq:NFLX) will become a component of the NASDAQ-100 Index® (Nasdaq:NDX), the NASDAQ-100 Equal Weighted Index (Nasdaq:NDXE), and the NASDAQ-100 Ex-Technology Sector Index (NDXX) prior to market open on Thursday, June 6, 2013. Netflix, Inc. will replace Perrigo Company (Nasdaq:PRGO).
