Euroclear CSDs In Belgium, France And The Netherlands Commit To T+2 Settlement Period

Three of Euroclear’s central securities depositories (CSDs) - Euroclear Belgium, Euroclear France and Euroclear Nederland - are embracing the proposal in CSD Regulation to shorten the settlement cycle from T+3 to T+2 in Europe. In other words, securities transactions will settle two business days after trade date rather than three.

UK's Financial Conduct Authority Fines Royal Bank Of Scotland £5.6m For Failing To Properly Report Over A Third Of Transactions

The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has been fined £5,620,300 by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for incorrectly reporting transactions they made in wholesale markets, and in some instances, failing to report transactions at all.

Dalian Commodity Exchange: Open Of Hedging Approval And Limit Use Within Limit - Hedging Transactions Will Be Handled On The Internet From July 26

Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) released a notice on July 19, in which it announced that the Hedging Management Electric System (hereinafter referred to as the “System”) will be launched for operation after settlement on July 26. Meanwhile, the hedging position-holding within the limit will no longer need application and the hedging limit can be used in any member that has opened an account, thus further optimizing the process of hedging management, reducing the hedging cost, and enhancing the efficiency of the hedging business.
