Bursa Malaysia Securities Reprimands, Fines And Suspends Adnan Bin Jusoh For Engaging In Unauthorised Trades / Abuse Of A Client’s Account

Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (Bursa Malaysia Securities) has publicly reprimanded, imposed a fine of RM40,000 and suspended/restricted (as the case may be) Adnan bin Jusoh (Adnan) for 6 months as / from being a Registered Person, for breaches relating to unauthorised trades / abuse of a client’s account. Adnan was also required to undergo training on the conduct or professionalism of Dealer’s Representative (DR) / market offences.

Clearstream, the financial market infrastructure already active in Asia since 1990, this week reaches a key milestone for developing a direct settlement link to the Taiwanese market. As part of its Asia strategy, Clearstream is working with the Taiwanese central securities depository, the Taiwanese Central Securities Depository (TDCC), to develop a direct settlement link for global investors and issuers to access the Taiwanese international bond market such as the Renminbi-denominated “Formosa bond”.

CalPERS Investment Office Cuts Expenses For Two-year Period, Tops Peer Benchmark In Cost Survey - Internal Management, External Fee Reductions Among Primary Contributors

The California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) today reported that costs for its investment operations have declined by approximately $80 million for the two-fiscal-year period from 2011-2013. CalPERS also reported that it was found to be "cost-advantaged" in a CEM Benchmarking (CEM) survey, when measured against its peers.
