TOCOM Palladium Advances Over 2,700 Yen Per Gram

The April 2015 Palladium futures contract (most active/back contract month) temporarily reached 2,705 yen per gramduring the night session today (between 17:00 and 4:00 JST on May 2). It is the highest since April 25, 2001 (approx. 13 years).

ESMA Approves EuroRating As A Credit Rating Agency

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has approved the registration of EuroRating Sp. z o.o., based in Poland, as a credit rating agency (CRA) under Article 16 of the CRA Regulation. The registration takes effect from 7 May 2014.

SENSEX Futures on the Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange (DGCX) recorded a month-on-month growth of 41% in April. The Exchange traded a total of 819,941 contracts last month, valued at USD 24.69 billion.

PEGAS: April Volumes Increase By 174 Percent Year-On-Year - New Monthly Record On TTF Futures

PEGAS, the natural gas platform commonly established by the European Energy Exchange (EEX) and Powernext, announced that a total volume of 42.5 TWh was traded in April 2014. It represents an increase of 174 percent compared to 15.6 TWh traded on the natural gas markets of EEX and Powernext in April 2013.

Hong Kong's Securities And Futures Commission Bans Helen Chow Hoi Ching And Choy Cheuk Tung For Life

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has, in two separate actions, banned Ms Helen Chow Hoi Ching, a former employee of The Royal Bank of Scotland N.V. (formerly known as ABN AMRO Bank N.V.), and Ms Choy Cheuk Tung, a former employee of Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited, from re-entering the industry for life (Note 1).

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has reprimanded Kaiser Securities Limited (Kaiser Securities) and Kaiser Futures Limited (Kaiser Futures) (collectively referred to as Kaiser) and fined them a total of $1.7 million for conducting unauthorized financial activities in breach of the laws of Macau.
