Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) has successfully rolled out its second generation FAST (Fully Automated Securities Trading) system, replacing all existing trading platforms. The new proprietary system boosts TWSE’s trading capacity by three times, reduces latency by seventeen times and doubles system efficiency. It greatly enhances the capability of the Taiwan capital market in preparation for the adoption of continuous trading in 2015.

The index value of TSE Home Price Index (Used Condominium, Tokyo) is 88.00 points. The index value of TSE Home Price Index (Used Condominium, Kanagawa) is 79.66 points. The index value of TSE Home Price Index (Used Condominium, Chiba) is 65.89 points. The index value of TSE Home Price Index (Used Condominium, Saitama) is 67.60 points.

SGX To Introduce Reduced Board Lot Size From 19 January

Singapore Exchange (SGX) will reduce the standard board lot size of securities listed on SGX from 1,000 to 100 units from 19 January 2015. A smaller board lot size will make it more affordable for retail investors to invest in a wider range of equities, including blue chips, and enable them to build more balanced and diversified portfolios.

Facilitating Cross-Border Offers Of Collective Investment Schemes In ASEAN To Retail Investors

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the Securities Commission of Malaysia (SC Malaysia), and the Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand (SEC Thailand) today launched the ASEAN CIS Framework to facilitate cross-border offers of CIS to retail investors. The ASEAN CIS Framework is one of the initiatives undertaken by the ASEAN Capital Market Forum as part of the regional capital market integration plan endorsed by the ASEAN Finance Ministers in 2009.
