JSE Successfully Implements Phase 2 Of T+3 Project

The JSE has successfully completed the second phase of the JSE’s number one priority project, the T+3 project. The project is being implemented in three phases, and will result in the local equities market moving from the current T+5 settlement cycle to a shorter, three day settlement cycle (which is the intention of Phase 3 on the initiative). The JSE’s move to a T+3 settlement cycle will further align the South African market with global best practice and improve its efficiency and credibility.

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) have approved the launch of the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect pilot scheme following the finalization of all necessary regulatory approvals and relevant regulatory operational arrangements required for its commencement.

CME Group, the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, today announced the first USD Malaysian Palm Olein Calendar Swaps were cleared on 4 November 2014, through CME ClearPort. The trade was between Just Oil & Grain Pte Ltd and another Singapore-based company, and was brokered by Starsupply (SG) Pte Ltd, part of the SCB Group.

Joint Announcement Of China Securities Regulatory Commission And Hong Kong's Securities And Futures Commission

The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) and the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) have approved the official launch by the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE), the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (SEHK), China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited (ChinaClear) and Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited (HKSCC) of the pilot programme to provide mutual trading access between the Shanghai and Hong Kong stock markets (Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect). Trading through the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect will commence on 17 November 2014.

Dalian Commodity Exchange Launches Pilot For Intra-group Warehouse Receipts Swap For Soybean Oil, Palm Oil - Facilitating Participation Of Enterprises, Promoting Futures-Spot Integration

On November 4, Dalian commodity exchange (DCE) issued the “Notice on Carrying out Pilot for Intra-group Warehouse Receipts Swap for Soybean Oil and Palm Oil” (the Notice for short) to launch the warehouse receipts swap pilot for soybean oil and palm oil, and so far, the pilot for the warehouse receipts swap starting from the soybean meal futures has been expanded to three futures products.

The price differential of the Good Delivery material for the November 2014 contract month in the Rubber market has be determined as follows,
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 2.2 of the Rubber Delivery Detailed Rules, the price differential between the Good Delivery materials RSS No.3 and the non-standard grade RSS No.4 for the November 2014 contract month shall be -3.0 yen/kg.
