EEX: Public-Holiday Trading: Whit Monday

As announced in the Customer Information of 16 April 2015 on Monday, 25 May 2015 (Whit Monday), exchange trading and trade registration services in all EEX Futures, Options and Emission Spot Market products as well as trading in the corresponding location spreads will be closed as an exception for 2015. Furthermore exchange trading at the Gas Derivatives Market won’t take place due to Spring Bank Holiday (on 25 May 2015 as well).

Euronext and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance the development of Exchange Traded Products (ETPs) in the Republic of China and the Euronext markets. The MOU is the starting point for collaboration on joint development, research, marketing and specialized trading technology, as well as co-branding of indices and Exchange Traded Products.

Dubai Financial Market (DFM) today announced that its UAE listed companies have showed a 100% compliance to disclose their Q1- 2015 results within the deadline of 45 days from the end of the first quarter. Forty-five UAE public joint stock companies listed on DFM successfully disclosed their quarterly results, with the exception of Al Firdous as its financial year-ends on 31 March.

The New York Stock Exchange, part of the Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE:ICE) global network of exchanges and clearing houses, today announced the NYSE Bitcoin Index (NYXBT), the first exchange-calculated and disseminated bitcoin index. Launching today, the NYXBT Index will represent the U.S. dollar value of one bitcoin unit based upon actual transactions occurring on select bitcoin exchanges which have been evaluated and meet NYSE’s quality standards.
