(TSE) approved the listing of the following trust beneficiary certificates (Japanese Depositary Receipts) whose trust assets are exchange traded notes (indicator-tracking securities) issued by Nomura Europe Finance N.V. STOXX Ltd. Expands Smart-Beta Offering With STOXX Sharpe Ratio Index Family - STOXX Europe Sharpe Ratio 50 Index Licensed To JP Morgan

STOXX Limited, a leading provider of innovative, tradable and global index concepts, today released a first-of-its-kind index family that selects components based on their Sharpe ratios. The STOXX Sharpe Ratio indices include stocks from the respective benchmarks that have the highest Sharpe ratios, while excluding those with low dividend yields and low liquidity. JP Morgan has licensed the STOXX Europe Sharpe Ratio 50 Index for a structured product.

Tonight, I want to discuss economic growth. This may sound like standard fare. In the media, economists spend much of their time discussing growth and its statistical counterpart, Gross Domestic Product or GDP. At least for some, this focus is misplaced. For example, it is increasingly well-recognised that GDP is apartial, and often imperfect, measure of societal well-being. As Einstein said, not all that can be counted counts.
