11% Rise In Market Cap Of Listed Companies In 2014 On The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE)

The market cap of listed companies, whose stocks were traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) at the end of 2014, amounted to NIS 778 billion – an 11% rise, compared with the end of 2013, in which market cap totaled NIS 703 billion.

R.J. O'Brien To Acquire The Kyte Group From GFI Group - Acquisition Marks Strategic Expansion For RJO In Europe

R.J. O'Brien & Associates (RJO), the oldest and largest independent futures brokerage and clearing firm in the United States, and GFI Group (NYSE:GFIG), a leading intermediary and provider of trading technologies and support services to the global OTC and listed markets, today announced that RJO's affiliate, R.J. O'Brien Europe Limited (RJO Europe), will acquire GFI's subsidiary, The Kyte Group Limited (Kyte). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has approved the transaction, which is expected to close no later than March 17. After closing of the transaction, Kyte will operate under the name "R.J. O'Brien Limited".

Over 40 Clients Use Trayport's REMIT Reporting Prototype

Trayport today announced that over 40 companies were using its prototype online REMIT reporting tool. Introduced in February 2014, the REMIT reporting prototype is now in testing with small and large trading firms and some of the industry’s largest utilities. In response to market participant requests, Trayport has also developed a REMIT reporting frequently asked questions document.

Only 35% Of Asia Pacific Corporates Have Real-Time Transparency Of Cash - Multiple Banking Relationships, Cost, Reliance On Customised Bank Systems And Work-Around Solutions All Hinder Real-Time View Of Operational Liquidity

Almost two-thirds of corporates in Asia Pacific lack a transparent line of sight to their real-time cash positions, according to a survey released today by Cashfac Technologies, a global leader in Cash Management solutions. High costs, proprietary banking systems and patchy work-around solutions were all seen by corporates as undermining the accuracy and confidence in data and impacting the ability to achieve real-time cash visibility.

FIA Elects Directors And Officers

FIA today announced the election of directors to its board at its annual meeting in Boca Raton, Fla. Eleven directors were elected in total at this meeting, including eight regular member directors for two-year terms and three associate member directors for two-year terms. Following the election, the new board elected the association’s officers and public directors.
