    The shareholders of Deutsche Börse AG elected the shareholder representatives on the company's Supervisory Board at today's AGM, due to expiry of the existing terms of office. The number of Supervisory Board members was also reduced from 18 to 12 as resolved at the last AGM. The new Supervisory Board comprises eight shareholder representatives and four employee representatives. Seven of the eight shareholder representatives on the Supervisory Board were already Supervisory Board members in the previous election period. Chinese national Amy Yok Tak Yip was elected as a new member of the Supervisory Board. Richard Hayden, David Krell, Friedrich Merz and Thomas Neiße no longer stood for election.

  • HKEx Receives Delegation From Taiwan

    Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) Chief Executive Charles Li; Calvin Tai, HKEx's Head of Global Clearing (Asia); Roger Lee, HKEx's Head of Market Operations; and Li Gang and Mao Zhirong, Co-heads of HKEx's Mainland Division, received a delegation from Taiwan today (Wednesday).  The delegation comprised legislators and government officials as well as representatives of Taiwan's market regulator, stock exchange and brokerage industry.  The two groups shared their viewsand experience on financial markets. 

  • Finansinspektionen - Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority - Publishes Methods For Assessing Capital Requirements For Three Important Risk Types

    Finansinspektionen (FI) establishes methods for assessing Pillar 2 capital requirements for three types of risk: credit-related concentration risk, interest rate risk in the banking book and pension risk. FI has taken into consideration the feedback received to the consultation memorandum published in December 2014 and has made certain changes to the methods now published. The memorandum also includes an updated impact assessment.
