  • SGX Issues Warnings Against Xpress Holdings And Its Ex-CEO

    Singapore Exchange (SGX) has issued a warning to Xpress Holdings Limited (Xpress) for breaches of Listing Rule 704(20), which requires a company to immediately disclose winding up petitions filed against it or its subsidiaries. Xpress did not make immediate disclosure of two winding-up applications filed against the company and its subsidiary, Xpress Print Pte Ltd.

  • HKEx: Partial Cancellation Of The Bonds Due To Conversion

    Reference is made to the announcement made by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (“HKEx” or “Guarantor”) and HKEx International Limited (“Issuer”) jointly on 15 May 2015 in relation to an aggregate principal amount of US$288,883,000 (approximately HK$2,239,738,787.30), representing approximately 57.78 per cent of the initial aggregate principal amount of the US$500,000,000 0.50 per cent convertible bonds due 2017 (“Bonds”) constituted under the trust deed dated 23 October 2012 (as amended and restated effective 17 December 2012), which had been converted and cancelled in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Bonds (“Conditions”).

    Bursa Malaysia Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia” or “the Exchange”) today hosted an IPO Sharing session for participants from the BioNexus status and Bio-economy group of companies. The event was organised in collaboration with the Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (“BiotechCorp”) with the aim of providing owners and entrepreneurs of these companies, a better understanding and appreciation of the benefits of listing on Bursa Malaysia as well as the process involved. Also present to share their listing journey was, Bioalpha Holdings Berhad (“Bioalpha”), a BioNexus success story that recently made its debut on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia in April this year. Bioalpha raised RM20 million and was 32.19 times oversubscribed.

  • HKEx: OTC Clear Welcomes Hang Seng Bank As A Clearing Member

    OTC Clearing Hong Kong Limited (OTC Clear), a subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) that was set up in 2013 to provide clearing services for over-the-counter, or OTC, derivatives, welcomes Hang Seng Bank Limited (Hang Seng) as a clearing member.  Hang Seng's membership took effect on 20 May of this year.
