Shanghai Futures Exchange: Notice On Market Risk Control During The National Day 2015

The National Day 2015 is approaching. According to the notice on holiday schedule and market close,  the Exchange’s futures markets will be closed from October 1 through October 7. According to Article 4 and 9 as prscribed in the Risk Management Rules of the Shanghai Futures Exchange, we decide to adjust the trading margin requirements, price limits, transaction fees for each product around the National Day.

Thailand Futures Exchange Adds 10 Underlying Stocks For Stock Futures, Effective From Oct 5

Thailand Futures Exchange PCL (TFEX), under the Stock Exchange of Thailand group, will add 10 underlying securities for its Stock Futures, on top of the 60 currently available, to accommodate higher demand on this product, enabling investors to manage portfolios more efficiently and increase trading opportunity. The new additions will be effective from October 5.

Shanghai Futures Exchange: Notification On Schedule For Continuous Trading Hours During The National Day 2015

According to the rules on continuous trading, the Exchange further clarifies the detailed schedule for continuous trading hours during the National Day as follows:

There is no continuous trading on the night of September 30.

On October 8, the bidding session time for gold, silver, copper, aluminum, zinc，lead, nickel, tin, steel rebar, hot-rolled coil, natural rubber and bitumen futures is 8:55 a.m.—9:00 a.m.

The continuous trading will resume on the night of October 8.

Securities Commission Malaysia Revokes Licence Of Khoo Chee Leong For Conducting Deceitful Activities

The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has revoked the Capital Market Services Representative’s Licence (CMSRL) of Khoo Chee Leong (Khoo) effective from 28 August 2015. Khoo was formerly attached to Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad (KIBB) as a CMSRL holder for dealing in securities.
