Dubai Financial Market (DFM) today announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Dubai’s Department of Finance (DoF), which will enable investors to make payments of IPO subscriptions in the future via the ePay Portal of Dubai Smart Government. The agreement underlines DFM’s commitment to collaborate with various organizations in order to provide market participants with smart and cutting-edge services in line with the vision and directions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.

SEC Adopts Rules To Permit Crowdfunding - Proposes Amendments To Existing Rules To Facilitate Intrastate And Regional Securities Offerings

The Securities and Exchange Commission today adopted final rules to permit companies to offer and sell securities through crowdfunding. The Commission also voted to propose amendments to existing Securities Act rules to facilitate intrastate and regional securities offerings. The new rules and proposed amendments are designed to assist smaller companies with capital formation and provide investors with additional protections.
