ETFs And ETPs Listed In Europe Are Gathering Net New Assets 13 Percent Faster Than In Prior Years According To ETFGI

ETFs and ETPs listed in Europe are gathering net new assets 13% percent faster than in prior years according to ETFGI. A record level of US$48.4 billion in net new assets (NNA) was gathered by ETFs and ETPs listed in Europe in the first seven months of 2015, surpassing the prior record of US$42.9 billion gathered in the same period in 2014. At the end of July 2015, the European ETF/ETP industry had 2,135 ETFs/ETPs, with 6,534 listings, assets of US$504 Bn, from 50 providers listed on 25 exchanges in 21 countries, according to ETFGI’s preliminary ETF and ETP global insights report for July 2015.

ETFs And ETPs Listed In The Japan Are Gathering Net New Assets 59 Percent Faster Than In Prior Years According To ETFGI

ETFs and ETPs listed in Japan are gathering net new assets 59% percent faster than in prior years according to ETFGI. A record level of US$23.8 billion in net new assets (NNA) was gathered by ETFs and ETPs listed in Japan in the first seven months of 2015, surpassing the prior record of US$15.0 billion gathered in the same period in 2014. At the end of July 2015, the Japanese ETF/ETP industry had 154 ETFs/ETPs, with 209 listings, assets of US$125 Bn, from 21 providers listed on 2 exchanges, according to ETFGI’s preliminary ETF and ETP global insights report for the July 2015.

KVH Is First In Japan To Deliver MEF Carrier Ethernet 2.0 Certified Services - Colt Group, KVH’s Parent Company, Certifies Its Next Generation Ethernet Service “etherXEN”

KVH’s parent company, Colt Technology Services, today announced that Colt has achieved MEF Carrier Ethernet 2.0 (CE 2.0) certification for its point-to-point (E-Line), any-to-any (E-LAN) and hub and spoke (E-Access) services. This certification is the basis for both KVH and Colt’s global network services which includes KVH etherXEN, thereby making KVH the first operator in Japan to deliver services compliant with MEF CE 2.0 specifications.

At the end of the settlement date of July 31, 2015, short interest in 2,308 Nasdaq Global MarketSM securities totaled 7,830,242,446 shares compared with 7,950,616,084 shares in 2,310 Global Market issues reported for the prior settlement date of July 15, 2015. The end-of-July short interest represents 4.65 days average daily Nasdaq Global Market share volume for the reporting period, compared with 4.36 days for the prior reporting period.

The EBA Issues Final Guidelines On Passport Notifications For Mortgage Credit Intermediaries

The European Banking Authority (EBA) published today its final Guidelines on passport notifications for mortgage credit intermediaries in support of the transposition of the Mortgage Credit Directive (MCD). The Guidelines will ensure that information about credit intermediaries carrying out business in more than one Member State is exchanged consistently between national authorities.
