Total equity market capitalization at the end of July 2012 reached SR 1,369.63 billion (US$ 365.23 billion), increased by 2.43% over the close of the previous month. The total value of shares traded for the month of July 2012 reached SR 139.06 billion (US$ 37.08 billion), increased by 7.67% over the previous month. The total number of shares traded* reached 6.64 billion shares during the month of July 2012 compared to 6.09 billion shares traded for the previous month, increasing by 8.92%. The total number of transactions executed during July 2012 reached 3.37 million compared to 3.46 million trades for the month of June 2012, decreasing by 2.40%. * Adjusted to all corporate actions during the period.
