The market opened for four trading days this week as the Federal Government declared Tuesday August 25, 2026, as a public holiday to mark Eid el Maulud celebration.
Meanwhile, a total turnover of 2.507 billion shares worth ₦123.223 billion in 173,561 deals was traded this week by investors on the floor of the Exchange, in contrast to a total of 6.242 billion shares valued at ₦157.764 billion that exchanged hands last week in 186,496 deals.
