CBOE Futures Exchange Reports February 2016 Trading Volume - VIX Posts Monthly ADV Of 204,609 Contracts - 4.1 Million VIX Futures Contracts Traded - VIX Futures ADV Up 23% From February 2015

CBOE Futures Exchange, LLC (CFE®) today reported that February average daily volume (ADV) was up 23 percent from February 2015, but down 25 percent from January 2016. Exchangewide total volume also rose in February compared with a year ago, up 29 percent compared with February 2015, but down 21 percent from January 2016.

The New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS) today announced that the Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) has entered into a Written Agreement with DFS and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York to strengthen compliance with Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering (BSA/AML) requirements, as well as the regulations issued by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) at the bank’s New York Branch.

Summary
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (collectively, the agencies) are jointly issuing the “Interagency Guidance on Funds Transfer Pricing Related to Funding and Contingent Liquidity Risks.” This interagency guidance addresses funding risk and contingent liquidity risk for national banks and federal savings associations with consolidated assets of $250 billion or more (collectively, firms).

(NASDAQ: CBOE) reported today that total trading volume in February for options contracts on Chicago Board Options Exchange® (CBOE®) and C2 Options Exchange (C2) and futures contracts on CBOE Futures Exchange (CFE®) was 92.9 million contracts, an increase of 5 percent from February 2015 and a decrease of 10 percent from January 2016.

Intercontinental Exchange To Acquire Standard & Poor’s Securities Evaluations, Inc. And Credit Market Analysis From McGraw Hill Financial

Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE:ICE), a leading operator of global exchanges, clearing houses and data services, announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Standard & Poor’s Securities Evaluations, Inc. (SPSE), a leading provider of fixed income evaluated pricing, and Credit Market Analysis (CMA), a leading provider of independent data for the over-the-counter (OTC) markets, two assets under the S&P Global Market Intelligence business unit, from McGraw Hill Financial (NYSE: MHFI). When completed, the acquisition will enable ICE to offer customers new data and valuation services. Under the terms of the agreement, ICE can elect to satisfy its payment of the purchase price due at the close of the transaction in either cash or shares of ICE’s common stock. All other terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.

ISE Announces Appointment Of Robert Cornish As Chief Information Officer And Thomas Reina As Chief Technology Officer

The International Securities Exchange (ISE) today announced that its Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Robert Cornish will assume the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) upon the retirement of current CIO Daniel Friel, effective April 1, 2016. Thomas Reina, currently in the position of Senior Vice President, Technology Development, will become CTO. The technology management team has been planning for over six months to ensure a seamless transition following Mr. Friel’s announcement of his retirement plans last fall.
