PEGAS, the pan-European gas trading platform operated by Powernext, registered a total volume of 131.2 TWh in October 2016 which represents an increase of 21% compared to the previous year (108.8 TWh). The strong result also included new records on the spot (PEGs) and futures segments (GASPOOL, PSV, ZEE and ZTP).

In October, Moscow Exchange"s Indices reflected the positive trend by the MICEX Index on the Russian stock market. The MICEX Index was up 0.59% to 1,989.64 (from 1,978.00 on 30 September), while the dollar-denominated RTS Index fell 0.22% to 988.74 (from 990.88).
