London Stock Exchange Group plc (the "Company") announces that it has purchased through Barclays Capital Securities Limited, in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 26 April 2017, the following number of its ordinary shares of 6 79/86 pence each ("Shares") on the London Stock Exchange as part of the buyback programme announced on 29 March 2017:

MIAX Regulatory: Rule Change Approval Notice - FINRA Arbitration Rules 12402, 12403 And 13403

FINRA received approval to amend FINRA Rules 12402 and 12403 of the Code of Arbitration Procedure for Customer Disputes and FINRA Rule 13403 of the Code of Arbitration Procedure for Industry Disputes to provide that the Director of FINRA’s Office of Dispute Resolution will send the list or lists generated by the Neutral List Selection System to all parties at the same time, within approximately 30 days after the last answer is due, regardless of the parties’ agreement to extend any answer due date.

CFTC Enters Into Non-Prosecution Agreements With Former Citigroup Global Markets Inc. Traders Jeremy Lao, Daniel Liao, And Shlomo Salant - Non-Prosecution Agreements Are A Powerful Tool In The Division’s Cooperation Program

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced today that it entered into non-prosecution agreements with Jeremy Lao (Lao) of New York, New York, Daniel Liao (Liao) of Minato-Ku, Japan, and Shlomo Salant (Salant) of New York, New York. In their non-prosecution agreements, Lao, Liao, and Salant each admits that he engaged in the unlawful disruptive trade practice of “spoofing” (bidding or offering with the intent to cancel the bid or offer before execution) in U.S. Treasury futures markets while trading for Citigroup Global Markets Inc. (Citigroup) in 2011 and 2012. The non-prosecution agreements emphasize Lao’s, Liao’s, and Salant’s timely and substantial cooperation, immediate willingness to accept responsibility for their misconduct, material assistance provided to the CFTC’s investigation of Citigroup, and the absence of a history of prior misconduct.

Finansinspektionen’s Capital Assessment Method For Securitisation Within Pillar 2

Finansinspektionen considers it to be necessary to introduce a measure within Pillar 2 as a back-stop to limit the impact of system-critical securitisation on the total credit supply. FI is publishing today the method it will use in its assessment.

EBA Publishes Its Opinion In Response To The European Commission Intention To Amend The EBA Technical Standards For Open And Secure Electronic Payments Under The PSD2

The European Banking Authority (EBA) published today an Opinion responding to the European Commission's (EC) intention to amend the EBA's draft Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) on strong customer authentication and common and secure communication. In its Opinion, while agreeing with the aims sought in the EC's amendments, the EBA voices its disagreement with three of the four concrete amendments the Commission proposes on the basis that it would negatively impact the fine trade-off and balances previously found in the RTS.

Senate Agriculture Committee Votes Overwhelmingly To Confirm Giancarlo As Chairman For The CFTC Paving Way For Full Senate Consideration

The U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry this morning voted overwhelmingly to confirm the nomination of J. Christopher Giancarlo as Chairman for the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission. He has served as Acting Chairman since January. This paves the way for his nomination to move forward to consideration on the Senate floor.
