The European Banking Authority (EBA) launched today a public consultation on the implementation of the EBA Guidelines on methods for calculating contributions to deposit guarantee schemes (DGSs). The draft Report assesses whether the principles outlined in the EBA Guidelines on these methods are being met in practice. It also evaluates whether there is appropriate and consistent implementation of these Guidelines. The consultation runs until 28 August 2017 .

Office Of The Comptroller Of The Currency Reports First Quarter 2017 Bank Trading Revenue Increased To $7.1 Billion

Trading revenue of U.S. commercial banks and savings associations increased to $7.1 billion in the first quarter 2017, $1.5 billion, or 26 percent, higher than the first quarter a year earlier, according to a report released today by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

PEGAS Trading Volumes In June 2017 - PEGAS Trading Volumes Improve By 34% Year-On-Year, With Futures Volume Over 100 TWh

PEGAS, the pan-European gas trading platform operated by Powernext, registered a total volume of 167.7 TWh in June 2017, including 108.1 TWh traded on its futures segment. The overall volume increase was supported notably by new high marks on the CEGH VTP and ZTP delivery areas.
