Thomson Reuters today announced a partnership agreement with London-headquartered FINBOURNE Technology to use FINBOURNE’s cloud-based advanced investment management platform, LUSID®, for Thomson Reuters client and transaction data. LUSID is an event-based ledger with published APIs that allow in-house and third-party solutions to interface with portfolios, holdings or transactions. The partnership is designed to benefit customers by offering increased cost efficiency, better management of data used for compliance efforts and bolster struggling legacy investment-management systems. It builds on Thomson Reuters open-platform strategy, which seeks to meet customer needs by providing open access to in-house solutions as well as to partnered solutions.

This marks the first time Unigy 360 has been recognized in the Waters Rankings -- last year's "Best Cloud Infrastructure Provider" was Amazon Web Services. In addition, Unigy has broken all records for repeated wins in a single category and this marks the thirteenth time as "Best Trading Floor Communication System Provider" in the 16 years of the Waters Technology readers' choice awards competition.

FSB Invites Responses From Prospective UPI Service Providers

The Financial Stability Board (FSB) has today published a Self-assessment questionnaire for prospective UPI Service Providers and is seeking responses from entities that wish to be designated by the FSB as a Service Provider for the Unique Product Identifier (UPI). Responses are requested by Tuesday 4 September.
