  • Cloud Innovation Gains 5 Award Shortlists This Year For Velocimetrics

    Velocimetrics new product, stream2Cloud, has had an unprecedented level of success since its launch in early January, now securing a further four shortlists. Having been shortlisted by FStech awards in January, stream2Cloud has now been shortlisted in the National Technology Awards and the European IT and Software Excellence Awards for ‘Cloud Innovation’ and ‘Enterprise (Cloud) Solution’ of the year, respectively. stream2Cloud also received a further two nominations from the Network Computing Awards for ‘Cloud-Based Solution of the Year’ and ‘New Cloud Solution of the Year’.

  • Vienna Stock Exchange: Changes In The Indices CECE, EETX And NTX, RDX Remains Unchanged

    The composition of the indices calculated by the Vienna Stock Exchange for Central and Eastern Europe and Russia was reviewed as planned. In accordance with the rules and regulations the following changes will be made to the indices CECEEETXNTX. The composition of the RDX remains unchanged. The new index composition will take effect on Monday, 23 March 2020.

    • Market capitalisation was $36.2 trillion at the end of February 2020, an increase of 10 per cent from $33.0 trillion for the same period last year.
    • The average daily turnover in February 2020 was $115.1 billion an increase of 9 per cent from $105.7 billion for the same period last year.
    • The average daily turnover for the first two months of 2020 was $109.5 billion, an increase of 14 per cent when compared with $95.9 billion for the same period last year.
    • The average daily turnover of ETFs for the first two months of 2020 was $6.3 billion, an increase of 70 per cent when compared with $3.7 billion for the same period last year.
    • There were 24* newly listed companies for the first two months of 2020, no change when compared with 24* for the same period last year.
    • Total funds raised for the first two months of 2020 was $61.9 billion, an increase of 170 per cent when compared with $22.9 billion for the same period last year.
