Moscow Exchange To Expand Commodities Derivatives Offering

On 11 October 2019, physically delivered silver futures will begin trading on Moscow Exchange. The new contract will complement MOEX’s commodity derivatives offering, which currently includes gold futures.

Tradeweb: September Average Daily Trading Volumes Set New Record; Records Set Across Multiple Asset Classes

Average daily volume (ADV) in September 2019 set a new record of $872.0 billion (bn), an increase of 47.3 percent (%) year over year (YoY). During the month, Tradeweb set several new individual records for U.S. government bonds, mortgages, U.S. credit, credit derivatives and European ETFs.

- The FCA sees diversity and inclusion (D&I) as a mainstream business issue that speaks to a firm’s culture and conduct.
- 75% of UK households use the services of an asset manager – this is a sector whose success depends on its ability to attract capital from investors of all backgrounds, demographics and income levels.
- Change won’t come overnight. Progressing on the issue of D&I means evaluating the specific barriers in your organisation, coming up with practical strategies to overcome them and evaluating what works and what doesn’t.
- This is no longer an issue that can be swept under the rug – the public have expectations about the firms that serve them and are increasingly vocal about them.

CUSIP Request Volume Sends Mixed Signals For Corporate And Municipal Debt Issuance - Corporate Debt Volumes Rise In September While Muni Volumes Slow

CUSIP Global Services (CGS) today announced the release of its CUSIP Issuance Trends Report for September 2019. The report, which tracks the issuance of new security identifiers as an early indicator of debt and capital markets activity over the next quarter, found increases in CUSIP request volume for corporate debt and decreases in request volume for municipal debt in September.
