Purdue University/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer: Farmer Sentiment On Trade And The Overall Ag Economy Improves As Fall Harvest Gets Underway

The Purdue University/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer improved 15 points to a reading of 136 in October. The upswing is attributable to 15-point increases in both of the barometer's sub-indices. The Index of Current Conditions rose to a reading of 155 and the Index of Future Expectations rose to a reading of 146. The barometer is based on a mid-month survey of 400 U.S. crop and livestock producers.
Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority’s First MoU In Riyadh Signed With The Dubai Financial Services Authority

The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) enhanced their relationship today when Mr Saeb Eigner, Chairman of the DFSA, met His Excellency Ahmed Al-Kholifey, Governor of SAMA, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen mutual cooperation in their supervision of banking and insurance.The MoU will facilitate the exchange of information and oversight of institutions supervised by the respective authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

ACER Decides On Long-Term Electricity Transmission Rights In 13 Member States

ACER published today its decision amending the regional design of long-term transmission rights in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia (the Core region). The decision introduces financial transmission rights to five additional borders in the region.

Euronext today announces the creation of a new Euronext Green Bonds offering across its six regulated markets. The initiative, which was launched today at Climate Finance Week in Dublin, is operated out of Euronext Dublin, the group centre of excellence for Debt, Funds and ETFs, and is designed to encourage and promote more sustainable investment in Europe. The Green Bonds offering goes live today with more than 50 participating issuers, and marks the first product launch of Euronext’s new three-year strategic plan, ‘Let’s Grow Together 2022’, illustrating Euronext’s commitment to accelerating the transition towards sustainable finance, by developing sustainable products and services for the financial community.
