The Performance Of Amman Stock Exchange During 2019

The Chief Executive Officer of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE), Mr. Mazen Wathaifi, said that the trading value at the ASE decreased during 2019 reaching JD1.6 billion; a decrease of 31.6%, compared with JD2.3 billion for the year 2018. The number of traded shares reached 1.2 billion shares, traded through 503 thousand transactions, compared with 1.2 billion shares traded during 2018 through 512 thousand transactions

The stocks of SAP, Commerzbank, Aixtron and Flatex were the most traded securities in the German indices DAX, MDAX, SDAX und Scale All Share. This was announced by Deutsche Börse today in publishing its cash market trading statistics for 2019. In total, an order book turnover of €1.50 trillion was achieved last year on the three trading venues Xetra, Börse Frankfurt and Tradegate Exchange (2018: €1.72 billion).

The gold holdings of the exchange-traded bearer bond Xetra-Gold (ISIN: DE000A0S9GB0) increased to 203.2 tonnes at the end of the year 2019. This is an increase of 21.7 tonnes over the course of the year. At the beginning of 2019, 181.5 tonnes of gold were stored in the central vault for German securities in Frankfurt.

Her appointment was in accordance with the Securities and Futures Ordinance. Ms Cheung replaced Gao Yingxin, the HKICL’s former chairman, on the RMC.
