  • Eurex Clearing Expands Buy-Side Sales

    Nick Barnes will join Deutsche Börse Group as Senior Vice President for Sales and Relationship Management on 1 March 2020. Concentrating on Eurex Clearing’s buy-side initiative, he will be based in London and report to Jonathan Lombardo, Head of Fixed Income Derivatives Funding & Financing Sales, Northern Europe. European Sales is led by Frank Gast, while Philip Simons heads Fixed Income Sales globally.

  • EEX Group And Nasdaq Futures, Inc. (NFX) Successfully Complete Transfer Of Freight Business

    EEX Group has successfully completed the migration of Freight Open Interest from Nasdaq Futures, Inc. (NFX) to European Commodity Clearing (ECC), EEX Group’s clearing house. Following the third and final matching session, a total of 143,784 lots of Freight Open Interest, which equates to approximately 90% of the entire NFX Freight portfolio, has been migrated from NFX’s clearing house Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) to ECC.

  • Commercial Banks And Insurance Companies Receives Regulatory Approval To Participate In The China Government Bond Futures Market

    With the consent of the State Council, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), the Ministry of Finance, the People's Bank of China, and the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission issued a joint announcement, allowing commercial banks and insurance companies to participate in the China government bond (CGB) futures market of China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) in a phased manner under the prerequisite of ensuring regulatory compliance, control of risks, and business sustainability.
