Being Close To Spot Trading And Increasing The Representativeness Of Futures’ Prices, Dalian Commodity Exchange Announces The List Of Registered Delivery Brands Of LLDPE and PP Futures

On April 21, 2020, Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) issued the "Notice on Announcement of Delivery Brands of Linear Low Density Polyethylene and Polypropylene Futures", and clarified the list of brands that they can be used for the delivery of linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) and polypropylene (PP) futures. The brand delivery system will be implemented from contract 2104. Market participants said that all the brands announced this time are mainstream brands widely accepted and recognized by downstream enterprises. Only the above-mentioned mainstream brands can enter into the delivery process is in line with spot trading habits and brand characteristics. While meeting the delivery and goods pick-up needs of enterprises and reducing delivery costs, it will also ensure the futures prices represent mainstream brands and promote the function of futures.
