Finansinspektionen Will Hold Press Conference About SEB

Finansinspektionen (FI) will hold a press conference on Thursday, 25 June, following the Board of Directors’ decision regarding the investigation into SEB AB’s governance and control of measures to combat money laundering in the bank’s subsidiaries in the Baltic countries.

SG Americas To Pay $3.1 Million To Settle Charges Of Providing Deficient Blue Sheet Data

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced settled charges against broker-dealer SG Americas Securities LLC for failing to provide complete and accurate securities trading information known as "blue sheet data."  SG Americas agreed to pay a $1.55 million civil penalty to resolve the SEC's charges and separately agreed to pay $1.55 million to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) to resolve parallel charges.

MIAX Options Exchange - Mandatory Upgrade To Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT) Timestamp Before Monday, June 29, 2020

As previously announced in the May 28th Alert and June 15th Alert, the MIAX Options Exchange has published updated Interface Specifications to support the reporting of the Market Maker Firm Timestamp to CAT via the Exchange.  These changes require certification and are required to be used in production on or before Monday, June 29, 2020.  The old messages will be rejected in the new protocol.

US Federal Agencies Release List Of Distressed Or Underserved Nonmetropolitan Middle-Income Geographies

The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency today announced the availability of the 2020 list of distressed or underserved nonmetropolitan middle-income geographies. These are geographic areas where revitalization or stabilization activities are eligible to receive Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) consideration under the community development definition.
