Deutsche Börse - Correction: Aareal Bank AG Remains In MDAX, Rocket Internet Moves To SDAX

On Thursday, 3 September 2020, Qontigo’s global index provider STOXX Ltd. announced that Aareal Bank AG will be excluded from the MDAX index on 21 September 2020 on the basis of the regular exit rule. This information is not correct; Aareal Bank AG remains in MDAX. Instead, Rocket Internet SE will leave MDAX and will be included in SDAX. As announced, Wacker Chemie AG will be the replacement in MDAX.

Shares in the world's largest exchange operating groups rose by 4.9% in August, with all but 4 of the 30 constituents of the FTSE Mondo Visione Exchanges Index being in positive territory, and the index, which aims to reflect market sentiment and is a key indicator of exchanges performance, setting a new closing all-time high of 70,221 on 31 August, 2020 the last trading day of the month

Minneapolis Grain Exchange Membership Approves Demutualization For Purposes Of Merger With Miami International Holdings

Miami International Holdings (MIH), the parent holding company of the MIAX Exchange Group™, and the Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX), a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), today announced that MGEX membership overwhelmingly voted in favor of demutualizing. As a result, MIH and MGEX can now proceed with merger preparations in accordance with the agreement and plan of merger previously announced by the parties.

CFTC Awards Whistleblower For Exposing Ongoing Fraud

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission today announced it has issued a whistleblower award to an individual whose information led the Commission to open an investigation into ongoing fraudulent activity and successfully bring an enforcement action. In addition to the initial tip, the whistleblower also provided extensive assistance, including documents that were essential to establishing wrongdoing. This additional support enabled the CFTC to take action more quickly and conserve resources.
