  • Shenzhen Stock Exchange Holds First Seminar Session On Restructuring And Listing Practices Under Registration-Based IPO System

    This year, as the new Securities Law has been deeply implemented and the reform of the ChiNext Board and the pilot project of the registration-based IPO system have been officially carried out, the capital market has seen continuous optimization and improvements in a series of basic policies for share offering and listing, information disclosure, constant supervision and other links. Recently, amid regular epidemic prevention and control, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) has held the first seminar session on the restructuring and listing practices under the registration-based IPO system for 36 chairmen, general managers or de facto controllers from 25 pre-IPO companies. This move is to help companies timely grasp the latest policy requirements and understand the information-disclosure-centered review principle of the registration-based IPO system, and to drive excellent firms to better integrate with the capital market.

    Today, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) issued two sets of rules, including the Guidelines of Shanghai Stock Exchange for the Application of Self-Regulation Rules for Listed Companies No. 1 - Major Asset Restructuring (the Guidelines for Listed Companies No. 1 for short) and the Guidelines of Shanghai Stock Exchange for the Application of Self-Regulation Rules for the Listed Companies on the SSE STAR Market No. 1 – Regulated Operation of Listed Companies (the Guidelines for SSE STAR Market No. 1 for short), marking the initial results achieved in streamlining and optimizing the system of rules for continuous regulation of the SSE-listed companies.

    Pursuant to the Trading Rules of China Financial Futures Exchange and relevant detailed implementation rules, the last trading day of a CSI 300 Index futures, SSE 50 Index futures, CSI 500 Index futures, and CSI 300 Index options contract is the third Friday of the expiry month. Where the last trading day is a public holiday or trading of that contract is suspended on that day for extraordinary situations or other reasons, the last trading day shall be postponed to the following trading day. Accordingly, the last trading day of IF2009, IH2009, IC2009, and IO2009 (CSI 300 Index options contracts expiring in Sep 2020) is Sep 18, 2020.
