Non-Jordanian Ownership In Companies Listed On The Amman Stock Exchange Reached 50.2%

Amman Stock Exchange revealed that the value of shares bought by non-Jordanian investors at the ASE in October 2020 was JD 7.8 million, representing 9.4% of the overall trading value, while the value of shares sold by them amounted to JD 6.7 million. As a result, the net of non-Jordanian investments in October 2020 showed a positive value of JD 1.1 million, whereas the net of non-Jordanian investments showed a positive value of JD 153.3 million during the same month of 2019.

- Brazil’s framework for financial market infrastructures are consistent with the CPMI-IOSCO Principles for financial market infrastructures.
- The report makes recommendations where any minor gaps have been identified or where the framework could be further improved.
- The assessment reflects the status of Brazil’s framework as of 31 May 2018.

Monetary Authority Of Singapore: Existing Support Measures Will Help SMEs Impacted By Legislation To Facilitate Restructuring Of Contracts

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) said today that the extended credit relief measures announced by MAS and the financial industry on 5 October 2020 will provide support to SMEs affected by the Re-align Framework passed in Parliament on 3 November 2020 to help businesses severely impacted by COVID-19 to renegotiate selected types of contracts. Other affected borrowers can approach their banks or finance companies to explore funding solutions to meet their cashflow needs.
