The introduction of Financial Technology (FinTech) in Nigeria’s financial landscape has led to enhanced propositions across the value chain. With over 200 FinTech standalone companies in Nigeria, the sector is still relatively young offering significant opportunities for growth and expansion across the consumer spectrum. To facilitate access to these opportunities, the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE or The Exchange) has partnered Fintech Association of Nigeria to a FinTech sector webinar on Thursday, 22 October 2020.

FactSet (NYSE:FDS) (NASDAQ:FDS), a global provider of integrated financial information, analytical applications, and industry-leading service, announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Truvalue Labs, Inc., a pioneer in AI-driven environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data. The transaction is expected to close later this year and is not expected to have a material impact on FactSet’s fiscal 2021 results.

CFTC And BoE Sign New MOU For Supervision Of Cross-Border Clearing Organizations

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the Bank of England (BoE) have today announced that they have signed an updated Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding cooperation and the exchange of information in the supervision and oversight of clearing organizations that operate on a cross-border basis in the United States and in the United Kingdom. CFTC Chairman Heath P. Tarbert and BoE Deputy Governor for Financial Stability Jon Cunliffe published a joint op-ed for Risk.net outlining the agreement.
