- Diversity will be crucial in our consideration of vulnerability, particularly as we come out of a pandemic that has disproportionately affected women and people of colour.
- We are working with the Prudential Regulation Authority on a joint approach to D&I for all financial services firms.
- We will increasingly be asking tough questions firms about representation across grades and whether their culture is open and inclusive and provides a safe space for colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
- As part of our regulatory work on diversity and inclusion and the listings framework, we will be exploring whether we should make diversity requirements part of our premium listing rules.

ESMA Sees High Risk For Investors In Non-Regulated Crypto Assets

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the EU securities markets regulator, today publishes its first Trends, Risks and Vulnerabilities (TRV) Report of 2021. The Report analyses the impact of COVID-19 on financial markets during the second half of 2020 and highlights the increasing credit risks linked to significant corporate and public debt overhang, as well as the risks linked with investments in non-regulated crypto-assets.

The total value of transactions during the month in review reached €2,27 million, with an average of €0,11 million per trading session. The Financials sector contributed 69,26% to the total value traded which was the highest among all other sectors. Investors primarily focused their interest on the shares of “Demetra Holdings Plc” and also on shares of “Bank of Cyprus Holdings Plc” with 35,57% and 21,79% of the total value respectively.

With its new UBS Climate Aware Global Developed Equity CTB UCITS ETF, UBS grants investors access to an investment opportunity to effectively reduce their portfolios’ carbon footprint by exceeding climate-transition benchmark (CTB) requirements, resulting in a 1.8°C degree portfolio.
