Vienna Stock Exchange: Over 50 New US Securities In The "Global Market" Segment

As of today, 52 new US securities are continuously tradable in the international market segment of the Vienna Stock Exchange, the global market. The newly listed blue chips operate in a wide range of industries: The increased interest in the healthcare sector is met, for example, with Medtronic Plc (medical technology) or also Moderna Inc (biotech, mRNA vaccine developer). MSCI Inc as a global index provider or State Street Corp as a financial services provider and custodian bank, operate in the financial sector. Investment opportunities for food-related investors include Hershey Co, one of the world's largest chocolate manufacturers, Kroger Co, the largest grocery supermarket in the US, and Tyson Foods. Other well-known names are companies such as Peloton Interactive Inc (fitness equipment) and Otis Worldwide Corp (the world's largest producer of elevator systems).

ESMA: DTCC Derivatives Repository Fined €408,000 For EMIR Data Breaches

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the EU’s securities markets regulator, has fined DTCC Derivatives Repository Plc (DDRL) a total of €408,000 for seven infringements of the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR) regarding data confidentiality, data integrity, and direct and immediate access to data.

The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) announced today that, in view of the approval for listing given by Qatar Financial Markets Authority “QFMA”, the shares of “Mekdam Holding Group” (“Mekdam”) will be admitted to trading on QSE Venture Market (QEVM) as of Monday, August 02, 2021, after completing all the necessary technical and administrative procedures. “Mekdam Holding Group” will become the second company to be listed on QSE Venture Market (“QEVM”) dedicated for SME’s.

IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva Urges Continued Action To Address Two-Track Recovery

International Monetary Fund Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva made the following statement today at the conclusion the meeting of the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors:
“I am very encouraged by the substantial progress made by the G20 at this meeting on a number of crucial issues. In particular, I want to recognize the G20’s support for the historic agreement on a minimum corporate tax rate. This will help countries preserve their corporate tax base and mobilize revenue by ensuring that highly profitable companies pay their fair share everywhere."
