State Street Survey Identifies Actions Alternative Asset Managers Plan To Take To Meet Growing Investor Demands

State Street Corporation (NYSE: STT) today announced new research,[1] which reveals that with increasing pressures and demands on returns and reporting, alternative asset managers have work to do to meet the growing needs of institutional investors. The survey found that just 57 percent of the alternative asset managers interviewed said their investment operations are built to scale to deal with increasing volume and complexity. 70 percent believe they will need to increase the amount they invest in data storage, management and analysis; and only 24 percent have already done so.

In fulfillment of the aspirations of the wise government to adopt the best international practices and standards and enhance the quality of institutional work, the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) was awarded the ISO 22301:2019 certification by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance. H.E. Dr. Maryam Butti Al Suwaidi, Acting Chief Executive Officer, received the certificate in the presence of H.E. Mohammed Khalifa Al Hadari, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, and Saeed Al Saboosi, Director of the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department. The certificate was presented by Ayman Ktaily, Business Development Manager for India, the Middle East and North Africa at Lloyd’s.

Dalian Commodity Exchange Officially Releases Rules For RBD Palm Olein Options Contracts And Related Parameters

Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) released on June 9 the Announcement on Releasing the RBD Palm Olein Options Contract and Amendments to the Relevant Rule of Dalian Commodity Exchange, and the Notice on RBD Palm Olein Options Trading and Overseas Investors’ Participation, officially announcing the rules for RBD palm olein options contracts. It also made clear that RBD palm olein options, which is the first options listed on China's mainland to overseas investors, would be officially listed on DCE on June 18.
